I think my teacher is so hot
On the first day of 10th grade, I got to my Math thinking that my teacher was defiantly not ugly. However as the days progressed, I became more and more attracted to him. He's a great teacher, is funny, and has similar personal views as me (like about the environment, or hunting, which is really popular where in TX). Also, I ** at math. So I always have to go in after school and get extra help. Unfortunately, this isn't a ** story and when I do go in for help, he re teaches it to me and that's it. There is no special connection or anything I just think he's hot. But it's a horrible fact, that when I told my friends, they thought I was the weirdest person on the planet for being 16 and attracted to a 28 year old. But when my 15 yr old guy friend said he thought our 26 year old English teacher was hot, they didn't even bat an eyelash. I call double standard! It's not that weird, especially when nothing will ever happen.

When I was in 6th grade I was 12 y/o instead of being 11 y/o, When I was in 7th, I was 13 y/o, and in 8th grade, I was 15 y/o as I remember to this day, I was 16 y/o in 9th grade, this turns out to be true.
You're absolutely right: it IS a double standard, and there's no excuse for it beyond the unsatisfactory explanation that this is the way our society and culture have evolved. It's sad, and you are bearing the weight of it, I'm very sorry to say. But there's nothing wrong with your feelings, nothing whatsoever. You're a very alert and aware woman, and there's nothing wrong with the attraction you feel, regardless of the guy's age. Two alternate explanations are also possible; first, that the girls who criticized you are also wildly attracted to the same teacher, and didn't want to say that out loud, so they jumped on your ** instead; and second, that they realize how much, much more mature you are than they are, and realized that you are mature enough to actually be involved with a man that age (which they NEVER could) and so they are jealous. Don't worry about them and their pitiful opinions. You're just fine. [And by the way, DO NOT give up on the possibility of something developing with your teacher: it could happen, but only if you want it.]
I wish! I know he doesn't have a girlfriend, but I also know he wants to keep his job..lol
