CPAP not Pap Smear
I was talking to a Technician and an RN at work and as we passed a patient's room,I saw a machine I had never seen before. So without much thought,I asked them "what is that a pap smear machine"?The RN replied "its a CPAP machine" I realized my mistake as she was saying that.They did not laugh or anything but I just started laughing because I was so embarrassed.The RN asked me why I was laughing and I asked her if she had heard what I asked.She said "I think I heard you ask if that was a pap smear machine".Thereafter they made fun of me and told everybody.
