I don' want my brother to go to college
My brother is going to college. Before you know it I am typing a letter to him crying. I want to be five again so he doesn't go to college. He's my role model. He tells me secrets, and I keep them. I already do self harm, and him leaving for college makes it worse. How do I get over my brother leaving for college. Don't comment on the cutting. I know the consequences.
You're going to be okay. It's a change, life is full of changes. And you'll adapt to whatever life hands you. So maybe him going to college is the first really big thing you'll deal with. But you're stronger than you know. Just because he's going away to college doesn't mean you won't be able to talk with him. He'll share secrets with you still, just from a distance. Be happy for him. You'll be going off to college soon too. I have to comment on the cutting..find a better way to cope. The anxiety you feel with him leaving, talk about it.
