Easiest Job In The World
I am a teacher at a private, upper-class middle school. The material I teach is incredibly easy for me. I don't have to do any planning at all. And the students are highly motivated and intelligent. All of the things teachers usually complain about - no time, bad students, standardized testing, etc... They don't apply to me.
And the parents LOVE me. They think I work much harder than I actually do. they complain about two of the other teachers a lot. Those two teachers are always here, always working extra hard to make the students and parents happy. I show up right when the students get here, and leave as soon as they do. I never come in early, never stay late, and they still love me.
I used to have a job I hated back in my 20s. But I went back and got my M.A. in Teaching, and here I am. Now, when I hear people ** about their jobs, I am so grateful that I found something that is easy, fun, and pays well. It's kind of like having a "get out of a ** life" pass.
Great you found the right job for you. For me dealing with kids even well behaved ones would be stressful.
