My best friend died in 1996
He died of complications of renal failure. He was a genius and I wish I had been born with his IQ. Even when he was very sick he made A's in college and he eventually earned a Masters Degree in Actuary science.
Its been many years since his death but no other friend has taken his place. He will always be my best friend.
I had another good friend a 18 wheeler long haul driver who died in 2000.
When it comes to friends I can't win for losing.
I'm sorry for your losses. You just have to remember how lucky you were for having such great friends in your life and not focus on how their losses has hurt you.
