i lie to my coworkers and tell them i'm

i lie to my coworkers and tell them i'm paying my way through college on my own. i'm embarrassed by what they'd think of me if they knew my parents were paying all $50k of it. most of them just assume i'm paying for it alone anyway... i sort of wish i was. it wasn't my choice.

  • Say ok I made the money stripping

  • If it makes you feel better, than who cares!

  • ^they're not ignorant, just bitter, but I can understand where the second poster comes from. I had to work my way through college too, and sorry, but it does make you bitter, especially when you have all the lovely little trustfundarians talking about the trials and tribulations of having a paid for education.

  • my parents saved for 25 years to be able to pay for my education and gave up too much for it. shut your bitter ignorant mouth the f*** up. i'm not a spoiled brat because my parents wanted to be able to provide me with an education.

  • I'd think you were the same kind of spoiled rich little b****** just like when I went to college. Some of us really had to work our way through.

  • No biggie, it isn't really their business anyway. Just work on being a responsible person and know that someday sooner or later you WILL have to pay your own way, and it won't ever become a problem.
