We were both looking at age 70. I'm 68 and you were 69. Our old high school buddies are thinning out. They either died out or moved far away.
You and I had been friends since high school. You were sick so why in the ** didn't you act sick? The doctor told you to stay in bed but what did you do?
You got out of the bed and walked around. Did those pain killers you were on make you high or something? You walked around fell, and broke your hip.
Then you died in the hospital. You left me with me with one less old friend.
Everytime I hang out at our old watering hole or go to a school reunion I miss you.
We were about as close as two heterosexula men can be.
I miss you buddy. Your family cremated you and I can't even visit your grave.
