I am a 22 year old virgin who is always **. I'm afraid to have **. Not just because of all the stuff that I could get but because when I do have ** I want to be in love. But there are times when I'm watching "movies" I sometimes think "why don't I just release myself of all my self inflicted imprisonment and just find myself a partner?" but then I hold back because of the shame I would feel in dishonoring myself. I have friends who have told me that they wish they would've waited. Even though I have and will continue to I still have desires and fantasies that make me want to act out. And no matter ** much I touch myself in a day or evening I still feel unsatisfied. Even now!smh 😪 I don't know why I'm posting this on here but I did.

The only way you can truly dishonor yourself is having ** for the wrong reasons. Do it because you want to experience it and do it on your own terms without being drunk or otherwise not concentrating on it because you obviously want to be able to remember it. Those who regret it did it because their partner demanded it or they chose the wrong time but waiting for that "perfect" moment is a fool's errand that will leave you a virgin for a long time. Don't wait for marriage because you need to experience it before you're committed to one person. Too many people miserable in a marriage because they waited and now realize there's got to be more and better out there. The only reason I'd say wait is if you're part of some strict religious group where you intend to be married to some virgin guy who will only marry virgin girls.
You're right, there's no Mr/Mrs right out there. But there is a person waiting for me.
I'm going to wait for that person. I feel sexually frustrated sometimes, but I believe in respecting my values/choices and waiting to lose my virginity, to someone who I love and it's reciprocated.
I personally don't believe in waiting until marriage, because I don't want to get married and because my preference is not to wait until then. I do respect those that choose to, because that's their choice. So I'm not judging anyone that does wait until marriage to lose their V.
