Okay this isn’t a confession I am sorry. There is a guy I really like, and he knows it, because 1: I am very obvious, 2: my ex- best friend told him I am in love with him. At my house he is very flirty and cute and in my face (like literally in my face, not like snobby in your face). Then at school he acts normal just friends blah blah blah, but if I don’t say hi to him first thing he’s pissy, and he also gets pissy if I say hi to another guy first. What the heck am I supposed to think or do, does he like me? Are we just friends? Is he just being a ** because he knows I like him?

You are expecting him to just drop his macho appearance at school? You don't do the same thing yourself?
Okay, so you like him and he flirts back in a non public setting. So what are you looking for? Can't you ask him to be your boyfriend yourself? If he says yes, don't become clingy and smother him in places where levels of affection like that do not need to be shown?
