Rich Baby Boomer Parents
Both were government workers. Retired with big pensions. Everything was from Real Estate appreciation. Both are millionaires.
I needed to a few thousand dollars to buy a house before the big run up in prices. They refused to help me. Instead they bought a new car, more property, and a new engine for their boat.
The house I wanted to buy went from $150k ---> $550k in two years.
As a result of them refusing to help me; I had to move to a "third world" country to afford a house. I explained to them I had no choice and it was directly because of their decision not to help me.
Now they are blaming me for making them "feel bad" and for "looking bad" to their friends. Even though I'm a responsible person with a job that doesn't drink or do drugs. They say it's all my fault I was forced to flee the United States to avoid homelessness.
They say I should feel very bad and be very ashamed of myself for making them "feel bad" by running away from the United States.
Selfish ** cut ties with them
