Received the very first compliment in my life.
I was at work on Friday and 30 minutes before my shift ended, a special needs woman and her female caregiver came through the line I was bagging for. The Special Needs woman (who I'll call SN) asked for the name of the cashier and the cashier introduced herself. I didn't have my name tag so SN asked the cashier what my name was. After SN was told my name, she turned to her caregiver and said "He's cute." I have to admit that I was very surprised. My entire life I was never complimented on anything. My grades, the clothes I wore, etc. and most definitely not my looks so having someone saying that I'm cute was not only a complete surprise to me but, was also the first and probably the only compliment I'll ever get.
