I don’t know how to tell her
I’ve had a crush on my best friend for over 6 months now. I want to tell her, but each time I think about actually doing it, she has a crush on someone else. And when she doesn’t have a crush on anyone, I don’t feel the need to confess because I don’t want to risk ruining what we have, but then I realized I missed my chance when she gets another crush.
She means so much to me, and I really do want to be in a romantic relationship with her, but I just don’t know how to go about it without making her uncomfortable or making our friendship uncomfortable.

I had a crush on a very cute blonde girl when I was in college. I wanted to ask her out but each time that she was single, another guy quickly asked her out. Finally, during our senior year she broke up with her boyfriend and I actually asked her out first. I knew that she had already ** at least six guys but it didn't bother me since I wanted her to be mine. We dated for two years and then got married. We will be married 50 years this fall.
