How my clean apartment became a sewer rat
Keeping my home clean was a priority. When general cleaning was completed picking up sweeping mop up wiping down and such a phase 2 cleaning was done.
Phase 2 is a very important step in the cleaning process when you have a small animal Pet living a free roaming life inside a home. Phase 2 may include the following a hand held steam cleaner that generates high temp steam not just steam air. The process began after the general cleaning was done. The steam cleaning unit and several clean rags and a knee pad or foam pad to kneel on and vinegar. The Vinegar is diluted with water within a bucket or a spray bottle. The steam unit would steam the floor primary focus is on the tile grout. Tile grout is a son of a ** if it is not properly sealed it will quickly become efflorescence. If the tile grout is properly sealed it will still become efflorescence. If you walk through sand grass or land that becomes flooded with storm water. Storm water is water that floods an area after it rains. This water is highly toxic it is a blend of car tire rubber dust, chemicals like oils or fluids that leak from an automobile, pesticides and dog **. Even in the smallest collection of storm water run off when tested will show a combination of everything I listed and much more. This water is worse than sewer water from your toilet. After I did a complete investigation of storm water I found out that if a homeowner develops some kind of method to run off the water with a man made system like a French drain for example it is prohibited to drain into the municipal sewer water system. It can not go into the sewer water collection system. The sewer water system of cleaning the sewer water from a home that includes human waste and dirty water from a washing machine is not designed to remove the elements that may make up storm water.
If you step a little bit of this storm water because it floods the front of your home and then you step into your house with tile floor you are immediately contaminating your floor and accelerate the efflorescence in tile grout. Efflorescence is a bloom that occurs in the tile grout when bits of dirt sand dust and whatever else you track into your home becomes combined in the tile grout it creates a bloom most people are unaware of including myself. It was not until I moved into an apartment that a chain smoker had previously lived in and a flood of storm water collected on the street and into the front yard sometimes up to the front door every time it rained that I became aware of these issues including toxic storm water, efflorescence and toxic dirt. It was my pet rabbit who was a free range Bunny her whole life was in the home and absolutely did not want to walk on the tile floor. Most rabbits don't like tile floor at first but after a while they figure out how to walk on it without slipping and become perfectly accustom to it.. When my pet rabbit Boo got onto the rug I purchased to set up her food water and liter box on she did not want to step off of it onto the tile floor. She appeared to be terrified of the tile floor. I placed newspaper or cut up paper brown bags from the grocery store and made a pathway and she quickly made passage upon this make shift path that I would spread out around the family room. I did purchase runners and rugs and a number of mats to try to make the best of her comfort. When these were in cleaning I would use the paper bags or newspaper. When I investigated issues with the tile and what could me tracking into the home and the constant flood of storm water in the front of my home that would go up to my front door almost after every rain and it would soak up into the ground but the water in the street would sometimes stay in a large puddle flooding the entire area in front of my duplex home mostly in the street for hours after the rain ended. I investigated the storm water and found out about its toxic make up. I also started that phase 2 of cleaning. That is get on your hands and knees and use a super hot steam cleaner with a vinegar water mix about 10-20 percent vinegar with water in a bucket. I would run the steam directly on the tile grout on the floor and then I would wipe it with vinegar water with a clean rag doing a small section at a time then I would set up a fan to dry that area. I would work my way until I got the whole living area done that would be the kitchen and the family room. I usually started at the front door. It is important to dry off that cleaning water solution whatever you use to clean the tile floor . When you are done
make sure you dry it or that wetness on the floor with accelerator the efflorescence bloom in the tile grout. This process was also done in the bedtroom. This process was done at least once a week sometimes 2 or 3 times a week depending on the traction of storm water into the home or just dirt and sand that may have had storm water flood onto it. I hope this information helps you if you have a small pet that roams on the floor of your home any animal for that matter including large dogs. An interesting CONFESSION here when I was handling phase 2 cleaning in my neighborhood within close proximity there was a n element of hate or hybrid jealousy at play. When I was working this element coming from a youth made consistent attempts of aggravation and distraction through my process of phase 1 and 2 cleaning. They used statements of personal information and summary of past events and assumptions usually what I considered private in an attempt to take me away from my cleaning duties. When people were cleaning usually there was an environment of singing songs and happy go lucky attitude to make the work go faster.
