I recently broke up with my long-time partner. To cope with it, I started chatting with other guys online (I'm gay). I found this guy whom I instantly clicked with. We would chat for hours about anything and everything. But our "romance" was short-lived. We kept in touch for about a week and then he ghosted me. He did warn me that he has a sick family member that he needs to care for but he would try to keep in touch, until he didn't. I've been checking my phone a million times per day hoping to see his messages but none came. It's only been a few days. I almost forgot about my breakup because of him but I am now obsessed over him. I don't know if I should block him and move on? Or wait...

No need to block him unless you do not want to talk with him again. Go not wait. Move on, he may or may not recontact you.
So he replied yesterday and that family member passed away. That's why he'd been quiet 🤐
