Civil war history of Conyers Ga
A Northern army from Maine was in Conyers Ga shortly after burning Atlanta Ga down. The townspeople including the blacks didn't want Conyers to suffer the same fate. They bribed the Northern soldiers with ** and food. The food was mostly corn fritters and eggs but they made it taste good. White farmers daughters were ** the soldiers as were the freed slave women. The black women had it worse because a rumor had been spread that ** a black woman would make your ** bigger.
There were so many black women pregnant with these Irish American soldiers babies that a reporter remarked that there was going to be a chocolate race soon.
Many of the black freed slaves followed Shermans army to Savannah Ga carrying their babies with them.
Arriving at Savannah Ga the city surrendered without a fight. More ** for the Yankees of all colors. This kept looting to a minimum.
The civil war was an ugly a war as any that had taken place in Europe during that same era. Forced copulation was practiced by ALL armies regardless of the skin color or race of the soldiers, officers, Kings, Queens, presidents. War is ugly. Always has been and will be. Somehow pointing out RACE is absolutely pointless, it neither makes it better or worse than any other war. Americans somehow think that RACE is a component in the suffering ...usually those that have never served or have ever been anywhere near any place where shots were fired in anger. WAR IS UGLY...the only thing that is just as ugly is some coward white guy trying to placate his small existence by pointing out race during a time of war. This is very clearly American cultural malice as they now have the most deplorable leader in their White House, all the goonies think that they are free to roam around freely. I hope that there would be one American willing to exercise their 2nd amendment rights on the O.P. and the mad man in their White House.
