Paddled at 18

Im 18 and just graduated last Friday and my parents want me to go to community college and stay at home. I told them I would and then they both informed me that if I break any rules I can still count on my stepdad giving me the belt. All though high school he gave it to me on average two times a month. Should I stay and acceot it?
