The Preacher's Boy

I moved to a new town.
I made new friends, and sadly, forgot the old ones.
I'm still "popular" I guess you could say.
But I've changed. My dad's company grew. We're rich now.

I hate that.

We switched churches. I sit next to the preacher's son in class. I'm sixteen and I'm in love with him. He doesn't know this yet. I'm scared to tell him. He's perfect. Cute. Funny. He doesn't use profanity. He believes in abstinence, just like me.

I don't know why I can't find the strength to tell him I want to be with him. I have a feeling he likes me too. I think I'll be making a call to him tonight.

Preacher's son, I hope you read this. I love you.

  • I told him. We're hanging out tomorrow. :)

  • Wimp. Weakling. Pansy. Pathetic worm. It's not "sweet" to have an unspoken crush - it's BEING A SPINELESS COWARD.

Life is Risk. TRUE Love is being willing to open yourself up to the possibility of being hurt for the possibility of total joy.

You think you love Preacher Boy? Then TELL HIM!!
Either he says "Yes" and you get everything, or he says "No" and you can call him names and go on to find someone better.

(If you're really lucky, he'll say "wanna f***?" and you can at least get your rocks off.)
