Respect i never earned
Im the middle brother of 3, i come from a family where my father left for drugs...both of my brothers are now dead, and i never got a chance to make them proud of me, and it eats me inside everyday, i ship off to bootcamp for the marines soon and i wished my brothers were here to be proud of me
My son went into the Marines over 4 years ago. At the boot camp graduation I was as proud of all the Marines that day as I was my own son. I am proud of you for your courage and your strength, as are so many other ppl who live in the U.S. Take heart, son, your dad and brothers are proud of you.
