Goodbye
I had a friend who texed or mailed weekly , we were i thought good friends and could chat about anything , but then he seemed to me to be distant but I let it go because of the age difference 15 yrs younger than me . last week I asked should we stop texting as I felt a nuisance and as he was now embarking on a new relationship it would be easier if we stopped . I asked him to say goodbye but he said some very hurtful stuff to me and now is refusing to talk to me . for me I just wanted to be out of the way and let him get on with things but I did need the word goodbye from him.
You haven't gotten any responses in over 8 years because most of the people on this site are either teenagers or teenager-like in mentality. It'd be a universe-shaking tragedy if it happened to them, but you're just an "old" (whatever your actual age is) so your feelings don't matter.
Ageism. It's a thing, but no one will talk about it because most SJWs are under 30 or desperately pretending they still are. It just isn't a fashionable enough social issue for them.
