The Real Reason
The real reason why I'm going to graduate school, learning everything I can about the world, working on improving my health, and fine-tuning my social skills. The real reason why I'm trying to become a more compassionate, enjoyable, adventurous, and quick-witted person. When people ask why, I say it's because I want to contribute to society . . .
But the truth is that I just want to make sure I'll be ready in case the Doctor ever arrives in his TARDIS and wants to take me on an adventure. I want to be the sort of person that he'd want as a traveling companion.
(Yes, I am aware that Dr. Who is just a TV show. But if there is a God, I hope he's just like the Doctor.)
It is a beautiful dream. Maybe it will be you who creates the TARDIS.
