D-bags, male and female, care about looking **. That is why you are attracted to them. Their efforts are paying off. They don't have to give two ** about other people because their needs are met, so why put out any more effort?

So if you want someone who is capable of returning your feelings, you go for the "nice" one. But they're not exciting the way the d-bag is, so now you haz a sad.

Everyone knows looking hot is much more important than treating other people decently. So the "nice" one loses out and the d-bag's ** behavior is rewarded. Lather rinse repeat. Cue the "nice" people moaning and the d-bags not noticing or caring, over and over again. It's the Circle of Life, and it won't change until YOU do.

Some women have a habit of being attracted to the bad boy types. Do they seem like forbidden fruit? I am not sure my sister and another friend of mine were both like that. Both ended up marrying ** who were lousy husbands. Neglectful in every way, didn't do anything to help raise the kids. My sister makes the money, cleans ,cooks does it all and this guy just nags her. She once dumped a guy years before because he was too nice, reminded her of my father. She should have been lucky to marry someone like him ,a great parent and spouse.
