I'm in a long distance one too, and I understand. I was like that early on in the relationship. I'd have meaningless ** with people but my bf's always been number one because I love him so much. But now for some reason I'm more okay with not doing that anymore. If you need it, go for it, but since it's an ex be careful because you might get emotionally attached...
I think it's perfectly fine to see your ex, and I hope you do that, but just be sure to say NOTHING to the boyfriend, and make sure the ex says NOTHING to anyone about the rendezvous. Enjoy yourself. And enjoy your ex. And don't limit yourself to one.
