There is no way my partner will find

There is no way my partner will find out I have been unfaithful. My partner isn't suspicious and will never find out about what happened.

So do I fess up and tell the truth? Or is it better to forget about it and work on making things right between us?

  • Confessing this to your loved one is very selfish if you are planning to stay together. It will hurt them, but will be a release of guilt for you. You cheated, so live with your guilt, and make up for it by treating your partner the way (s)he deserves to be treated.

  • No matter what it will eat you up not telling him. Think of when you are 60 and still feel like you have unfinished buisness. Keeping an affair secret when you have decided to never do it again can kill you.

  • Somehow even if it's 20 or 30 years down the line they find out. But if you are sure that you won't do it again then you might should give it a shot, if you are sure that this can never be brought to the light.

  • Let it go and move forward. What he/she does not know will never hurt them, so long as you are sure that he/she will never find out
