I almost died from alcohol poisoning... a one ounce shot away. That's the kind of thing that's supposed to open people's eyes, right? The kind of thing that's supposed to make them realize that they need to change something. I can't even think about it. Maybe that's why it doesn't mean anything to me. Maybe that's why I still drink. Maybe I need to learn to learn from my mistakes.
Well, when your family is crying at your gravesite, maybe then you will realize. Or maybe, you will have enough sense to stop trying to drown your sorrow in a bottle of liqour, and actually DO SOMETHING to help your self!
My brother in law died from cirrhosis and hepatitis. He had alcohol poisoning so many times, everyone at the hospital ER knew him by his first name. He refused to get help though.
sometimes it takes a while for people to learn.
Twenty years ago or so, I gave myself alcohol poisoning at least a dozen times. It took me forever to learn. I'm lucky to be alive and so are you. Get help.
