Weight shouldn't matter
So,my friend, (I) got turned down by a guy named (D) and when she asked him why he said "because I only like skinny girls." He also said, " If you were skinnier though, I would date you becuase I kinda of like you."I know this isn't true for all guys, but most of them do want a girl who is a healthy weight. I don't think there's anything wrong with having a opinion on weight, but I don't think it's a good enough reason to not date someone. Now, I will say, (I) is 12 and she weighs 162 lbs. She's on a diet now because her doctor said she was overweight and she lost 3 lbs. Also, (D) isn't actually very skinny either, so I don't see why weight is such a big issue. Doesn't the inside mean more than the outside? Or does that not exist anymore? She always says that she wished she had my body(age 12, 93 and half lbs), but I tell her that she looks fine. Yes, she's overweight, so what?! She's awesome and one of the funniest people in the world! I don't know, does weight matter that much to stop liking someone?
