my best friend and i have been

my best friend and i have been bestfriends since second grade. we've been growing farther and farther apart lately. szhe likes to have a close circle of friends, but i like a variety of friends. she gats mad at me for the stupidest things, like going to the mall too much, or having too many shirts, or even not liking my bathing suit. i was at our friends party, and i was in the bathroom, which is right next to my friends bedroom. my best friend and my other friend were in there talking. i heard her talk about me behind my back because she though i couldn't hear her. she thinks my life is so much better then hers. it's definitely not. she doesn't have relationship problems to deal with every single day, she doesn't have a brother who harasses you ever single day. she thinks my life's better because i have more stuff then her. big deal. i just want our stupid little fights to end and to become best friends again, as close as we were before. oh, and if my best friend is reading this, i'm talking about you julie. just please let all the little things go. i know it's partly my fault, but i try to forgive and forget. oh, and stop calling me a s***, okay?

  • Sometimes people grow apart as they get older. You can probably stay friends as long as you give each other space and resect each other's desire to do your own thing. But she will probably not be your best friend for your entire life.

  • People change. SHe doesn't really sound likeshe is being a friend to you, and no matter how close you were in the past, you have to remember that people do change... not always for the better.
