No and i had more than one no big deal. not sad. what is sad when you make a child that is a struggle to care for or the dad could care less. you did the right thing.
It's always sad when this sort of thing happens. The outcome is always bad. Either the kid has one parent. Or the parents stay together but hate each other or etc etc.
No I don't think you should have told him. It would have been one more pressure for you to deal with and I bet on top of the split you would have been pretty emotional about the whole thing
