Well I'm a twenty year old guy. Two weeks ago my grandmom died. I was the only one at the funeral who didn't cry. I can't cry.

When I was eight my parents got divorced and the day my dad moved out he told me I had to step up and me a man. I had to take care of my mom and that included him tellin me I can't cry takin care of my brother and me gettin a job at fifteen to help her with food. I haven't been able to cry since I was eight.

Its affected other parts of life too. Girls think I'm not sensitive at all. People think I have no emotions. I honestly just want to have my childhood back and not have to be an adult at such a young age.

  • People express themselves in different ways.

  • Next time you see your dad kick him in the shin and say 'thanks for nothing, a******.'

  • It might not be entirely due to the events in your past. Some people just don't express emotions in the same way as others. Don't be overly concerned about it.

I think we'd all like to have parts of our childhoods to re-live, but then again I am sure there are other parts you wouldn't want to. Life just goes forward. It's fine to sometimes LOOK back, but you can't GO back.
