I was occupied with thought of you, I was walking out the door and there you were. I was startled, amazed, and shocked. The beauty that I long for when you are gone, was once again right in my presence. A feeling of calm and assurance fell upon me like a heavy rain. With a simple smile, and a loving embrace, I was reminded how I miss you when you're gone, and rejoice when you're near.
Life can be empty, and my life was empty longer than I care to
remember. But I never knew that it would take the love of you to make me feel whole.
I worry, I assume, I fear, I nag, I pester. But I'm so happy when I love, I smile, I laugh, I joke, I pinch, I wink, I kiss, I care.
I care for you in ways I never knew. When your away I pray for your speedy return. It's the being away that's hard. But it's harder being without you. I am working on me for us. Please trust this. I love you like I have never loved before.
