My old best fried ignores me now. She hangs up the phone whenever I ask about any of her recent 'guys', she hands over the phone whenever I ask to speak to her, and ditched me several times the last time I went to see her!
She left me each time to see a random guy. She used to be very tom boy, and I always told her she was beautiful. Her responce to me the last time I told her to curb her looks was "You say that all the time, and it still doesn't matter". Now she dresses like a trampish young woman, with way to much make-up, with no respect for herself or others.
I doubt I will get her back, but I want to know what happened to us. Why did she start sleeping around and how can I tell her that these jerks she is around won't be there tomorrow? How can I make her understand that she needs to grow up and stop making these stupid choices?
She's like a 9 year old who's discovered make-up. People grow too. You can't keep expecting someone to stay the same forever. Keep in touch but find some other friends too. She should eventually realise that your friendship is valuable.
