Musings of an atheist
When you die thats it. You go nowhere and you stay gone for ever. No matter how bad you were or how good you were in life you die and go nowhere. Thats the bottom line with death. Your never comming back to life.
Religion does more harm than good. It causes wars, atrocities and misery and we would be better off without it. The advancement of science was and in some places still is hampered by religious beliefs.
Look at Islam, look at the way Christianity was five hundred years ago.
Its really awful to put your faith in something thats not even there.
We all sin, when we don't is how some people feel, they pray to God, to forgive our sins as like they some feel, and we died for their sins and we go to ** waiting for the time of the day of Judgement which God's kingdom will be on Earth.
Religion also brings hope,companionship and striving to be the best you can. Because why do anything if at the end of the day you are going to just die. All religions strive for something after death.
Maybe live for this life and quit pretending that u have another chance
The fact that a religion -- or religion in general -- may make a muddle of things only means that MAN has made the muddle. It doesn't mean there isn't a God.
If there is its so unbelievably far from our perspective and should stop kneeling to rules that humans make
Like say no ** till marriage...
