soulmate, maybe, nevermind

I met him in China.
He's me, but four years older, out of college, following my "useless" set of dreams.
I'll be a doctor, but he's a linguist.

One evening. We talked. On the roof of a bar.
He asked to kiss me. I said no.

I left the next day, but he gave me his email address and full name.
Of course we're Facebook friends.
And we've emailed, superficially, talking about travel and language and studying.

I have a boyfriend of two years. My love, my best friend. He takes care of me, loves me, tenderly, deeply.
I think I want to marry him.
But he doesn't share my dreams.
Or my love for China.

The guy?
Is still in China.
