I feel like an awful parent

Since my husband left me to raise 4 kids alone, I feel like I am failing. I barely make ends meet and can't give them what their friends have. I work a lot and never have energy to do things with them. I am lucky to get dinner at night and know I need to make healthier meals. I just want to give them to someone who could raise them better because I am so tired and stressed. I love them very much and they deserve better b

  • I plan a lot of my child's meals during the weekend or when I'm not working - for ex: pork roast leftovers become shredded pork in the crockpot the next day. I cook a lot of veggies on the weekend and refrigerate to be heated later. Real carrots are better for you than canned and cheaper in the long run. Get yourself some vitamins. Budget your taxes so you can get them each one coveted thing and ask your kids school counselor for help - they will help you! Kids need to feel loved and safe more than anything - praying for some miracles for you xoxo

  • My mom worked two jobs after my dad took off. She raised four of us in her own. Your kids may not have the newest things but they have you. Trust me, they know you love them. They know you are doing everything you can for them. I know its hard. They are better with you. Hang in there, mom, you git this. :-)
