My ol bar buddy died
He was seventy-one and he died at his home near the bar. He was a well educated intelligent man who was good at conversation. He was loved by his family and friends.
He drank too much. He was drunk everyday and he would come to the bar drunk already, have a few drinks then go home and drink some more. He would get up in the middle of the night to get a drink.
He was found after his landlord went to the house he lived in because he had not paid the rent. He was dead on the floor and I hope he didn't lay there and suffer. He had been dead almost two weeks.
Nobody's perfect. He drank a lot and he lived alone.
Bad combination.
