Why?
Today is my birthday. My ex called and asked what I was doing I replied nothing because he is always trying to be in my business; wants to know everything. He then proceeded to go on and on about how he's letting his girlfriend sleep in because "she deserves it". He made me do everything including yard work when we were together - he was abusive, and controlling. But was I ever allowed to sleep in? NO! He didn't even show me the courtesy of saying Happy Birthday. We have a child together so I am polite. He never sees him or does anything for him. I really don't understand why he bothers to keep calling ..... Any guys out there understand this?
Happy birthday. I can empathize with what you're going through. The pain of dealing with someone you used to be intimate with is a terrible feeling, even when you know they're a bad person.
