A Loser in Debt
I've been a lawyer for 8 years and have never practiced law because I had a traumatic and horrendous miscarriage during my first year of law school that advanced my PCOS and resulted in diagnosis of PTSD and OCD and i had ** grades from a ** law school. My rank was 3 from the bottom. Now I work as a Paralegal typing dictation, making copies, and keeping the kitchen and conference room tidy like any good girl Friday. What a winner, right?
Well, today I filed my very first pleading as a lawyer and used my license for the very first time. I have looked forward to this since I was 16 and started working toward my goal to be an Attorney. Unfortunately, the only way i get to practice law is in a case where a CC company is suing me for money i couldn't pay back because my student loan payments are $2,000.00/mo.
It just goes to show....hard work MIGHT pay off IF your lucky...anybody who says otherwise is full of **.
Sometimes I think law really exists so the better-heeled drama queens don't have to associate with theatre geeks.
