Honest wife?
My wife of 15 years was recently diagnosed with hpv after her annual pap smear. I know she was pretty loose in college. She admits to having ** with at least 12 guys before we married. However, she swears she has not been with anyone else since we've been together, and neither have I. So, is it possible that this disease has been undetectable or dormant all this time and just surfaced? , or has she possibly been unfaithful? Would really like some feedback.
I was diagnosed with it and it could have been any of the people I was with before my boyfriend, or any of the people he was with before me. The man usually carries it but doesn't develop into cancer. If your wife has had it for over the years, she will probably have an advanced form of it , hopefully not cancer like they thought I had. If a woman has it and it develops over the year it turns into cancer. So, it might have been her having it from a long time ago or you passing it to her ... You will never know, same way I never knew if it was my fault or my boyfriend's fault.
HPV is so utterly common that you can carry it all your life and never know it. Most people have it. No one is sure when and why it becomes dangerous, but at least the dangerous kind is fairly rare. I'd bet that you have HPV too. And no, it doesn't indicate infidelity.
Yes. Stress, etc. can cause it to present itself. Has anything changed in your home live that could possibly be the cause?
Yes It can be dormant. We all have hpv
