As a peer

On a confession post site, linked to Facebook. Here's some advice: Take a real risk. People, exes from your past will not come back. Remember them however you choose, but they're gone. They will not be persuaded by love gestures. You will look like a scared, foolish child.

Bet on yourself. Betting on other peoples' self interest intersecting with yours...will always make you a loser.
