I'm a 17 year old, overweight girl. I'm popular (seriously I am), but I've never been in a relationship, let alone had my first kiss. I'm really worried that I'll go to college like this. I like to tell people that I don't date by choice, but it's because no one will go out with me.

I married the first guy I fell in love with, and I couldn't be happier. I love him and I'm glad I waited.
If you don't want to wait, then lose the weight (seriously, girl, I know it **, but that's just life, that's the way the world is, I've been there) build your self-confidence, and get out there. Trust me, you lose the weight and the boys will come baying.
I never had a relationship or kissed until college. Just a few words of advice: when you do finally meet someone who is interested, take it slowly. I glommed onto the first person who came my way, and have been paying for it for 10 years. I should have had a few partners in my youth, to better understand existence, friendship, and all of that other stuff, but the years of lonliness created a pent-up tension that made me fall much harder than I should have for the wrong person.
