I'm about to start my fifth year of a 5yr curriculum at a university in my home town. There is this one professor everyone hates, and who frightens her students with her meanness. Thing is, she only teaches fourth and fifth years, so although I'd seen her the first three years, I hadn't been around her much. But last year, I was in one of her classes, beginning in August. By the first week of September, I was in love with her. Yeah, she was a **, but I loved it. She was snide and superior, and she was demeaning to her students, and I loved that, even when it was directed at me. She seemed angry all the time, and . . . you guessed it . . . I loved that, too. So, over this summer, I applied to be one of her senior teaching assistants and research assistants, even though my friends (who know nothing of my true feelings for her, because I've told no one) say I'm insane. I'll find out this week whether or not I was chosen. If I'm selected, she'll have control over me for the rest of the school year. And I'll be in heaven.
She sounds like a ** I once served for over three years. Best three ** years of my life. Enjoy the ride, bro!
Putting a price on knowledge affects everyone in a negative way. mabye she should do her ** job you know what all those broke students are paying her to do.
You can see beyond all her posturing and posing, which she does just to keep her students off balance. You see the real person. Enjoy working with her.
