Mother called me a C boy
I actually made some A's and B's but overall on the more difficult subjects I made a C. This went all the way through college where I graduated with a not quite B average.
Like my academics I continued to have a mediocre life but my kids are very good students and are doing way better in school than I am.
My wife and I together were able to pay their way through college and hopefully their lives will be more stellar than mine was.
