I would fully encourage you to share your feelings with him. You sound like you have a wonderful freindship with him and that is a good foundation for a relationship. I think you may regret it if you dont let him know how you feel. If he feels teh same thats wonderful if not you have lost nothing as you can still be best freinds and you will have got that feeling off your chest. good luck
