Can't Get Over Her

Three months ago, after taking over a year to work up the courage, I told my crush I was interested in her and she turned me down but said she wanted us to remain friendly.

Three months later I still think about her constantly and it's driving me insane that I can't get her out of my head.

I've tried listing her flaws, looking for someone else, distracting myself with my hobbies, but every time I see her all these feelings come flooding back and I fall for her all over again.

I'm so tired of this, why can't I let her go already?

  • After she ** some other guys when she is ready she will ask you out. You just have to be patient. It's difficult knowing that other guys are ** the woman that you love. When she decides that you are the Mr. Right be there for her and never mention the other guys that she will try to forget.

  • Lots of songs about this... "Can't we be friends," "I fall to pieces," etc. etc. Oldest problem in the world. Old one will fade someday, especially when you find another crush, and you will. Women having a saying, "the best way to get over a guy is to get under another one." Works for guys, too, whether "under" "over" or "behind."

  • How often do you beat off thinking about her?

  • At first I wasn't sure if I wanted to answer this, but **, why not?

I'd say once or twice a week, but I have to limit myself due to POIS.

  • Wait for some time -- she will return to you. She needs a rebuff from others.

  • I appreciate your optimism, anon
