ANother story about the ministes wife who fired my friend
The gentleman in my story is my best friend. When he left the church where the ministers wife was that fired him he never returned to that church.
OK he went to a Presbyterian church which is only separated from his former church by a small one way street.
One day his former employer the ministers met him outside his new church. She asked why he had quit driving the church bus and why he had changed churches. He said none of your business. She said how rude. He said I never want to speak to you or your husband again and you need to stop talking to me and the sooner the better.
She walked off in a huff. Hopefully she will get the hint.
When I first heard the Muslim call to prayer, I thought it was a man wailing in pain through a loudspeaker. I shouted in every direction, "are you alright? Are you alright?" I looked for him in every direction. Try as I might, I couldn't find him. So I walked to the general direction of the wailing, until I encountered a new Aladdin-themed bar and barbecque. Suddenly the wailing stopped, and I spotted a trio of very swarthy Italians with Amish beards walking straight across the front gate into the premises of the new tavern in town.
