My High school was too ** hot year round
In the early and middle 60's I went to a school that was hot as ** during the summer and winter both. NO AC during the summer and during the winter the heater overheated the ** building. We were ordered not to open the windows. The eason being in their words "we refuse to heat the outside of the school".
The misery factor was threefold in my ** of a school.
My elementary school was a ** hole too, no AC, the only safe water came from a cooler with a jug on top, and the school couldn't afford to supply pencils or paper to students. This was in the 90s. There was asbestos in the high school so certain hallways were locked down for safety because the ceiling tiles would fall down and release asbestos into the air.
