Selling dresses and underwear to crossdressers

I lost my job in retail and a friend gave me a lead on a job in a boutique in a strip mall. The lady was nice, it was all women's clothing, geared towards higher end older women. Nothing **. They also had a line of ladies underthings, too expensive for a working girl.

I worked there a couple of months, the traffic was slow, but they store had a lot of sales. Mail order, phone order, for delivery. Dresses, wigs, shoes, accessories, underwear. The owner took care of all those orders and my job was to look nice and keep the floor samples ready for any buyer who walked in the door.

One day a man walked in, my father's age and the owner went to him and they talked and she showed him some dresses and then they went to the underwear and she showed him several samples. She took his name and address and he left leaving her a check for the purchases, over a thousand dollars.

That's how I found out that the store catered to crossdressers. Older men, hence the sizes, and the underwear was the most popular. Eventually the owner let me attend to a buyer, it was always pretend that it was for their wife or mother, and let the select the underwear they wanted. Bra's didn't move much, it was all **, colors were popular.

Quite an introduction for a young woman to boutique retail.
