Very naive Vietnamese American girl
She was born and raised here in the United States and I began talking to her about what I knew of her people. I told her about the time the American navy rescued an estimated 0000 Vietnamese boat people and how well they did here in America once they settled in. Kids were good students and hard working. They grew up to graduate college and make something of themselves.
Th very pretty Vietnamese lady seemed surprised to hear that. I thought surely she had to know the stories about how her people came to America but she claimed not to know what I was talking about.
