I stole from my boyfriend

i found £400 in his top drawer when i was looking for socks and i took £100 of it i feel bad now but i have a reason for this ,
We were due to get married at the end of October and he canceled the wedding 7 weeks before the wedding and i lost alot of money thanks to him, as he is bad with money due to him drinking all the time i knew i would never get half the money i lost back from him and i have since found out he has pawned my rings that my mother gave me for my 18th and 21st birthdays, so was i being a total ** or did he deserve it after the ** he has put me through?

    • Poster #2 It's the United Kingdoms version of the $ you idiot. Currency.

    • A. You are a thief.
      B. He is a thief.

You should have just immediatly pressed charges. You didn't get married. He stole and pawned it. Your complaint would have forced a investigation into the ** shop. They shouldn't have bought it, and should return the rings to you, if you pay back what they gave your boyfriend.

Does he know you took the money? Next time, take enough to go and buy your rings back. Then get a safe. It all should be in one anyways.
