Brit girl stays in Georgia USA and graduates from my alma mater
OK I used to hang out at a br on Friday after work and resident Brits, Scots and Irish used to hang out there. The owner was a Brit and he sold traditional British Isles food. I ate Lamb stew sometimes and sometimes bangors and mash etc. I met a Brit girl there who was staying with her father who was building a skyscraper or two in Atlanta. She was complaining about how hard it was to get into a Britsh University and I suggested she stay in Atlanta and go to my old University and get a teachers certificate here.
She inspected my old college and liked it. The institution is laid back with a lot of cool young men and women attending.
She went through the tests and the University accepted her. I saw her off and on for the next four years and she loved being where she was but complained about the school being a bit too lax. I told her to study the texts and shed learn even though the teachers were sub par. She did graduate and the last I heard from her she was teaching successfully at a school not far from London.
