The retarded boy and the substitute teacher.
This teacher was filling in for a teacher who was out sick. The substitte didn't know there was a retarded boy in class. He ws allowed in school because his parents wanted him to experience as normal a life as possible. He usually just sat uietly staring into space. In front of his desk on the floor was a piece of paper and she told him to pick it up. He said I didn't put it down there. She said I don't care who put it down there you pick it up. He said I ain't. The infuriated teacher told him to go to the office at once and he did. A few minutes late she was called into the office apparently having been told his mental capacity was off and to not fool with him from then on.
When he was saying I ain't the classroom giggled which added to the teachers anger. I guess she got a lesson that day. Hard to define the lesson but she definitely got one.
